A marquise shaped blue Sapphire set sideways in minimalistic engagement ring. The band starts at the setting with a knife edge which fades into a rounded comfortable shank. At the bottom the ring is about 3.5mm wide tapering towards 2mm at the knife edge.
The ring will be finished with a mirror polish (satin brushed finish available). The genuine blue sapphire as pictured is approx. 7 x 3.5 mm and 0.4ct.? Ring is available with a B grade sapphire 7x3.5mm/0.4ct (first images),? and A grade sapphires in various sizes: 7x3mm/0.5ct (middle images/video), 8x4mm/0.75ct, 9x4.5mm/1.0ct (last images). All sapphires are heat treated. The gem will be set securely in a hand carved bezel setting.
Sapphire Grades:
- B grade: Medium to dark navy, possible color zoning; slightly included; good cut
- A grade: Medium to dark navy, little or no color zoning; slightly included; good brilliance; good cut; good polish
